Shipping Policy (Dispatch Policy)
Order processing, secure packaging, and dispatch timelines for jewellery orders.

1. Definitions
- "Shipping" / "Dispatch" refers to the process of final quality inspection, hallmark/certification verification, secure packing, and handing over jewellery items to the insured courier/logistics partner.
- "Delivery" refers to the transit and secure handover to the customer. See our separate Delivery Policy.
2. Order Processing and Dispatch
- Ready-to-ship jewellery orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
- Custom-designed or made-to-order pieces require 7–21 business days for fabrication, depending on design complexity, metal type, and stone setting. You will be informed of the specific timeline at order confirmation.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST are processed on the next business day.
- Business days: Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST.
3. Secure Packaging — High-Value Items
All jewellery is packed in tamper-evident, sealed packaging with security tape and holographic labels. Each piece is placed in a branded box with cushioned inserts. The package includes:
- GST-compliant tax invoice
- Hallmark / BIS certificate (for gold and silver items)
- Gemstone certification (where applicable)
- Authenticity guarantee card
- Care instruction card
4. Insurance
All dispatched jewellery shipments are fully insured for transit. In the unlikely event of loss or damage during courier transit, the full declared value is covered.
5. Dispatch Confirmation and Tracking
Upon dispatch, you will receive confirmation via email and SMS/WhatsApp with insured tracking number, courier partner name, and estimated delivery date. Tracking is active within 6–12 hours of dispatch for jewellery shipments due to priority handling.
6. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are included in the product price for domestic orders within India, unless stated otherwise at checkout. Special handling charges may apply for international shipments or oversized items.
7. Restricted Payment Modes
Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for jewellery orders due to the high-value nature of products. All orders must be prepaid via UPI, bank transfer, or approved payment gateway.
8. Address Accuracy
Provide accurate and complete shipping details. Jewellery shipments require a valid address with PIN code and an active phone number for OTP-based delivery. ROY GEMS & JEWELLERY is not liable for delivery failures caused by incorrect information.
9. Force Majeure
Dispatch may be delayed due to custom fabrication timelines, supplier availability (precious stones), courier disruptions, weather, or government restrictions.
